DNM Vertical Machining Centres with Heidenhain
Doosan have recently launched a new range of Heidenhain iTNC 530 controlled vertical machining centres into the market.
The new machines - the DNM 500 and DNM 650 - are the latest additions to the already successful and highly popular Fanuc CNC-controlled range of Doosan DNM vertical machines introduced into the UK in 2008.
The new DNM's are high-performance, cost-competitive 3-axis VMC's aimed predominantly at precision manufacturers operating in the mould tool and die and aerospace sectors, and customers manufacturing complex parts in small-to-medium volumes - who prefer the functionality and performance capabilities of the Heidenhain control.
The DNM 500 and 650 machines are equipped with a 17kW 12,000rpm
spindle (BT 40 Big Plus type), and have a 30-position ATC.
X-, Y- and Z-axis travels differ according to the machine model. On
the DNM 500 these are X = 1020mm; Y = 540 and Z = 510mm. On the DNM
650 axis travels are X = 1270mm; Y = 670mm and Z = 625mm.
