Key Sales and Marketing Appointment Made at Mills

Mills Manufacturing Technology Ltd, Leamington, the market-leading machine tool specialist and exclusive distributor of Doosan Machine Tools in the UK, has announced the appointment of David Andrew as the Company’s new Sales and Marketing Director.

Mr Andrew, previously UK Sales and Marketing Director at Hardinge Machine Tools Ltd, joins the new Mills Buyout Management Team of Nick Frampton (Managing Director), Andrew Jack (Technical Director), and Nav Ahluwalia (Finance Director), and takes up his new position at Mills on 23rd September 08.

The appointment of Mr Andrew follows the recently announced management buy-out of Mills, (completed at the end of August 08), which saw previous Managing Director, Mike Jenkins, retire and take up a Non-Executive position on the Board, and handover to the new Management Team, led by Nick Frampton.

Commenting on the appointment of David Andrew, Mills' new Managing Director Nick Frampton said:

As well as being Sales and Marketing Director at Hardinge (2004 - 2008), David Andrew (an ex Rolls Royce Bristol Apprentice Engineer) was also Sales and Marketing Manager at Hardinge (2001 - 2004), and prior to that occupied a number of Machine Tool Area and Divisional sales management positions at Geo. Kingbury Machine Tools Ltd, Stirchley Machine Tools Ltd and Ajax Machine Tool Company Ltd.
