'360' Training Academy launches new website

Mills CNC's '360' Training Academy, opened September 2009, has launched a new website to help promote its range of Fanuc and Heidenhain CNC Programmer Training and machine tool Operator and Maintenance courses.

The site www.cnctrainingacademy.co.uk has been designed to give manufacturers direct access to, amongst other training courses, 'best-in-class' CNC Programmer Training which, according to '360' Training Academy Manager, Jeff Hart 'provides both companies and individuals with all the information they need at their fingertips (i.e. course content and description; course duration; course price etc.), to make informed training decisions.

The CNC Programmer Training Courses (Fanuc and Heidenhain), are comprehensive in scope and scale and cover everything from basic 2-axis lathes, right through to multi-axis turning centres and mill-turn machines, and
3-, 4- and 5-axis vertical and horizontal milling. Specialist Fanuc Custom Macro A and Custom Macro B courses are also available.

The '360' Training Academy, although part of Mills CNC the exclusive distributor of Doosan machine tools in the UK and Ireland, runs CNC Programmer courses for any and every manufacturer with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controlled machines.

Says Jeff Hart:

'You don't need to be an existing Mills customer or a Doosan machine user to take advantage of our CNC Programmer Training Courses. If manufacturers (or their machine operators) need to upgrade their programming skills and/or want to know how to make more or better use of their machine tools' control systems' functionality - the '360' Training Academy can help'.

An example of this are the FREE forthcoming (Half-Day) Fanuc Manual Guide i and eZ guide i workshops being held at the '360' Training Academy in January 2010.

Designed to help operators exploit the potential of Fanuc's Manual Guide i system (and the Doosan eZ guide i derivative), these workshops are a 'must' for manufacturers looking to improve their performance and their productivity.

As well as providing visitors with comprehensive information on all training course provision available from the '360' Training Academy - the website also carries a news section that records and reports on recent training successes and highlights...and in the near future will be developed to allow courses to be booked online.
