Leamington-based Mills CNC, the exclusive distributor of Doosan machine tools in the UK and Ireland, has recently been awarded accreditation from Alcumus SafeContractor for achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace.
Mills’ application for SafeContractor accreditation was driven by the need to have a uniform Health and Safety standard across all of its business operations and is another example of Mills’ commitment to achieving and implementing best-practice.

Alcumus SafeContractor is a third party accreditation scheme that assesses the health and safety arrangements, policies and qualifications of contractors.
Under the SafeContractor scheme, businesses undergo a vetting process which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice. Those companies meeting the high standard are included on a database, which is accessible to registered users.
