The integration of a machining centre with a tuning centre provides unmatched flexibility and productivity, enabling manufacturers to machine parts completely with just one machine. Doosan MX-series mill-turn machines can undertake simple turning and milling operations right through to more complex, multi-axis simultaneous machining. The MX machines' off-centre Y-axis and integrated B-axis increases the range of milling operations that the machines can handle.
The new 6" or 8" chuck/44mm (or 51mm) bar capacity MX 1600ST machine has 2 x 15kW 6,000rpm spindles, an integrated B-axis and a Y-axis (+/-85mm), and lower turret.
