Periodically we have vacancies for field-based Service Engineers (located throughout the UK).

From time to time we have vacancies at the Mills CNC Technology Campus facility too.


UK Based Field Service Engineer (Multiple locations) – Due to expansion within the service department, we are looking for a suitable engineer to carry out service, repair and installation on our range of Doosan CNC lathes and Machining centres.

The ideal candidate will have an array of Mechanical knowledge as well as knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens controls but not all as some training can be given.

He or she should have engineering qualifications of HNC or similar and have a vast amount of experience working on CNC machine tools from the repair/maintenance aspect.

Some overnights away from home is normal as with most field based service roles.

Midland, South Yorkshire and South East Field Based Servicing Engineer – Due to expansion we are looking for immediate start a suitable engineer to carry out contract servicing on our range of Doosan CNC lathes and Machining centres.

The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens controls but not all as some training can be given.

He or she should have engineering qualifications NVQ or similar and have experience working on CNC machine tools ideally from the repair/maintenance aspect.

Some overnights away from home is normal as with most field based service roles.

Assistant Workshop Technician  – We are looking to find someone to work alongside existing machine mover with aim to fully train over time in our range of machines and safe practices. This role includes heavy work, working at height, outside work all weathers, un-crating of machinery ranging from 2t-20+t, loading and unloading of HGV’s.

Candidate needs to have some knowledge of machine moving and must be able to work as part of a team liaising with transport team and other logistic professionals.

Ideal qualities would need to include but not essential:

  1. Slinging Skills
  2. Overhead crane experience.
  3. Fork trick license, although right applicant will be sent on forklift course.
  4. MEWP license although not necessary as we will train applicant.
  5. Ability to work under pressure as will be part of a busy workshop responsible for the dispatch of circa 40+ machines a month as well as the unloading of machines from docks.
  6. Clean UK license preferred but not essential.
  7. Flexible working approach.
