AND THE WINNERS ARE….
Mills CNC’s Young Artist of the Year competition closed Friday 15th May.
Over 42 young people took part in the competition which was designed in response to the coronavirus outbreak and the government’s subsequent ‘Stay at Home’ and social distancing instructions.
The judging panel, which comprised Mills CNC’s Board of Directors, met (virtually) to select the winning artwork for each of the (three) age-related categories.
The 3 winners (shown holding their artwork) are below:

Each winner will receive a prize of £200.00.
Says Tony Dale, Mills CNC’s Technical Director:
“What a great response. The creativity, imagination and dedication of all young people who submitted a painting or drawing is to be admired.
“It was very difficult deciding on our three winners and I can assure everyone that much discussion and deliberation was involved.
“So a big congratulations goes out to our winners Elijah, Philippa and Laura.
“Well done.
“Finally, I would just like to say a big Thank You to all the young people who entered the competition. Not everyone can be a winner in a competition but, because their paintings and drawings were so fantastic, we are featuring their artwork below and are also sending them each an Amazon e-Gift Voucher.”
