DN Solutions’ scoops up two prestigious and coveted RED DOT Design Awards for its new, advanced DVF 5000 and DNX 2100 machine tool models.
DN Solutions, South Korea’s leading machine tool manufacturer and advanced automation systems’ supplier, has recently won RED DOT Design awards for two of its new, advanced machine tools – the DVF 5000 (Second-Generation) simultaneous 5-axis machining centre and the DNX 2100 multi-tasking, mill-turn machine models.
Organised by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen (Germany), one of the oldest and most renowned design institutions in Europe, the RED DOT Design Award, in the Product Design category, is one of the world’s most prestigious design competitions; and this year’s recognition marks DN Solutions’ fourth RED DOT win following earlier successes for the company’s SMX series in 2014 and its FM200/5AX range in 2015.
The DNX 2100 is a high-performance multi-tasking mill-turn machine that enables the complete machining of complex, high-precision parts in a single setup, significantly increasing productivity and improving process reliability. The DVF 5000 (Second-Generation) is a compact, simultaneous 5-axis machining centre designed for the fast and accurate processing of precision components.
Both winning models are striking and elegant. They feature the company’s futuristic and aesthetically-appealing ‘Silver and Blue’ branding, and combine a number of ergonomic enhancements with increased precision, speed, power and flexibility.
The DVF 5000 (Second-Generation) and DNX 2100 models were recently showcased at DN Solutions’ DIMF 2025 exhibition in April, and Mills CNC will be exhibiting a DVF 5000 (Second-Generation) model equipped with the new Sinumerik One CNC control on its stand at Manufacturing Solutions – Ireland 2025, in June.
