This is a practical course aimed at companies, including Mills CNC customers, who have Siemens-controlled Doosan machining centres or similar Siemens-controlled machines manufactured by other machine tool builders.
The course will appeal to companies who have an in-house Machine Tool Maintenance or Service Department and need to increase the skill levels of their employees, thus enabling them to plan and undertake systematic trouble-shooting and preventative mechanical maintenance on Siemens-controlled machining centres.
To get the most from this course it is important that attendees have experience of a machine tool's mechanical operation and the CNC control's systems and functions.
Specific course content includes:
This course can occasionally be run at the Mills Mills CNC Training Academy's facility in Leamington (depending on a availability) or can be held at a customer's facility. (Charges will be different to above.)
This course is practical with some theoretical and classroom instruction. Training on a Siemens-controlled machine depends on availability, but the same principles may apply to other makes of controls.
If training is required at a customer's facility, it is important that attendees have a machine in a good working order available and not in a production situation.
A room with a projector & whiteboard available would also be beneficial.
If a machine has a fault before training commences, we will not undertake a repair on it, and the course may be cancelled with no refund given.
