A touch of class!

The CNC Training Academy, the UK and Ireland’s premier CNC Programmer and Operator training organisation, welcomed hundreds of visitors onto its stand at the recent MACH 2016 exhibition.

Promising visitors a full and varied programme of learning activities and training opportunities – the Academy certainly did not disappoint  and proved to be the first (if not the only) port of call for manufacturers looking to improve their productivity and performance through investing in proven and professionally delivered CNC Training Courses.

TA MACH 2The primary focus for the Training Academy was on promoting its Academy-delivered Fanuc Turning and Milling CNC Programmer & Operator Training courses;  its Heidenhain 3- , 4 – & 5-axis CNC Programmer & Operator Training courses, and its recently-introduced Siemens Milling CNC Programmer & Operator Training courses.

In addition to these ‘mainstay’ courses,  introductory sessions on conversational CNC Programming software systems (e.g. Manual Guide I and ShopMill), were also demonstrated and allowed visitors to experience, via interactive and one-to-one sessions with Academy trainers, the significant productivity improvements that can be achieved by unlocking such systems’ potential.

Says Jeff Hart, CNC Training Academy Manager:

“By covering the full range of our training provision at MACH visitors were able to see and appreciate that the Academy is one of the few training organisations that provides clear and recognised training progression (e.g. from CNC operator/setter through to CNC programmer), for manufacturers.

“Not surprisingly we were inundated by requests – and enquiries about all our courses came in thick and fast throughout the five days, with specific interest in our Siemens CNC Programmer courses being worthy of special mention.

“As well as signing up companies and individuals (there and then) onto our existing courses, we made contact with hundreds of potential customers who we are now actively following up.”
