Doosan DEM 4000 Vertical Machining Centre
Mills CNC supplied two Doosan machines, a Lynx 2100LMB multi-tasking lathe and a flexible DEM 4000 vertical machining centre to the Advancing Manufacturing Centre at West Highland College in Fort William. The centre is a research, design and manufacturing hub that was setup to increase the manufacturing competitiveness of SMEs in Scotland.

Doosan DNM 4000 Vertical Machining Centre
Ayrshire based NPI Solutions, a precision subcontractor, invested in two new Doosan vertical machining centres and a Doosan Cobot. The machines a Doosan DNM 4000 and a DNM 6700 replace two older machining centres, which were creating a ‘pinch point’ in operations and affecting productivity and efficiency, plus the ability to run the machines and the Cobot unattended also helped.

Doosan DNM 4000 Vertical Machining Centre
Specialist fastener manufacturer Mellish Engineering Services invested in 3 new Doosan machines to meet growing demand for its products from offshore and subsea drilling customers. The third machine, a DNM 4000 Vertical Machining Centre was purchased following trials at Mills CNC Technology facility and now produces fastener components from difficult-to-machine materials.
