The Mills CNC Training Academy offers a range of Milling and Turning Programmer courses aimed at Mills CNC customers with Doosan machines, and for component manufacturers with other machine tool manufacturers’ machines with Fanuc, Heidenhain and Siemens controls. These courses are also available for unemployed adults and for adults looking to retrain and secure a career in engineering.
All Programmer courses are practical in nature and as well as being classroom based where course attendees use our advanced CNC simulators, also enable attendees time on our dedicated CNC machines where they can try out their newly-acquired skills.
Beginners Courses (Milling and Turning) provide attendees with basic Programmer foundation knowledge and skills, and include an introduction to ISO G Code programming.
Our Milling Programmer courses are categorised by the CNC Control used (i.e. Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens), and by the complexity of machining centre (i.e. 3-axis to 5-axis machines).
Our Turning Programmer courses are categorised by the CNC Control used (i.e. Fanuc or Siemens), and by the complexity of lathe or tuning centre (i.e. 2-axis lathes to Twin Turret/Twin Spindle machines with B-axis). We have recently introduced Heidenhain 2-axis and 3-axis Turning Programmer courses using the Turn Plus conversational programming system.
